It is possible, in Flexit Go there is a maintenance mode option which does controlled shutdown for unit.
@tomasb82 The FlexitGo app doesn't let me set the fans below 30%, so not sure I like going beyond spec in that way.
@tphakala Do you know if maintenance mode is a local connection? If so the API might not be available through cloud. But I might look to see if I can figure it out.
@tomasb82 Can I ask why you want a safe shutdown? Do you shut down your unit often, or think there is some chance of corruption when pulling the plug? I would imagine they would expose the option through the app if it was neccesary?
I want to stop unit if outside temperature is higher then extrat temperature. It is usualy at summer time, then condiotioners are on.
Okay I understand, thanks! I feel like this might be a bad idea when it comes to air circulation etc, pretty sure they are designed to run continuously. But I might look into the maintenance mode option, if it is possible.
I use the service shutdown in the app whenever my neighbours fire up their fireplaces, and I smell smoke inside. I'm planning a CO detector at the air intake. It would make it possible to get HA to shut down my Flexit and start it again when the air is clear.
hello, is there any possibility or planning to add a function (turning off/ enabling service mode) to HA? It would be very helpful in case of smell of smoke outside. Thanks
I haven't had a lot of time to look at this unfortunately, and will be pretty busy for a while going forward.
PRs are welcome if anyone want to give it a shot, or else I might look at it in the future some time. No time frame unfortunately.
I was also hoping this would make my integration obsolete, but appearantly not yet.
