Make it clearer that emails have sent

Two people have complained that they didn't get any verification that the email was sent. We should make it clearer that the email has sent.

Perhaps by initially hiding the share buttons and then showing them after a few seconds.

Could the user get CC'd? Or BCC'd? Very verbose but I just sent an email and I don't have any sort of 'receipt' that my email was delivered.
