[REQUEST] What is SIM using to interoporate tooling? Are the MCPs hosted somewhere? Are there MCP clients

Trying to understand what MCP servers are being used for the tooling.

@ngoiyaeric hey, the tools are HTTP and not MCP, so we don't have any MCP client or any server interaction.

Hi there 👋,

Wouldn't it make sense to support MCP? The functions are nice, but everybody and their dad has an MCP service now. It would make connection to other services simpler and maybe unified.

Love the project 🦾

Best, Joe

@waleedlatif1 is there a desire to have MCP interactions at this stage in your roadmap? Trying to understand whether it's something I can support as well.

Yes MCP support would be crucial for adoption.

hey @jexp @codingjoe @andrerfneves we just added MCP support today. Adding some docs tomorrow but you can configure them in settings > mcp servers and use them as standalone blocks or use them as Agent tools!

@waleedlatif1 Thank you for the great work. I just have a question, why are private IPs and hosts blocked? I run my MCP locally and it says: "Hostname 'localhost' is not allowed for security reasons"
