repeat song scrobble issue (track queue system)

I have a tendency to repeat one song manually now and then. Towards the end of the song I just restart the song. Even though it goes past the scrobble point set in the app it never scrobbles until the next song is played.

So the song can get to 50% (Scrobble point) and then be skipped to the next song and it will scrobble but restarting the song anywhere after the scrobble point misses the scrobble entirely

Shuttle Player may solve this problem.

I haven't seemed to have this issue after the major update quite a while ago. However this has been reported a few more times. Current open tickets that appear to be duplicate reports:
