I think much like the discussion we had at the [April 6 SimPEG meeting](https://curvenote.com/@simpeg/meeting-notes/!nRqqoV6sni4daJVex2er) about keeping the core set of dependencies of SimPEG quite lightweight, it would be good to...

Similar to simpeg/simpeg#1127, I suggest that we transition to calling properties by their physical property name rather than by their greek letter within `geoana`

It appears that the only testing for the LineCurrentFreeSpace is just in the documentation, it would be good to have tests that check accuracy as well. Here are a couple...

To be consistent with upcoming SimPEG upgrades in simpeg/simpeg#786, we should be more explicit with names - `em` --> `electromagnetics` - `fdem` --> `frequency_domain` - `tdem` --> `time_domain`

When I install from conda forge is reportedly get a version `0.1.2` both in terms of `conda list` and when doing: ``` import geoana print(geoana.__version__) ``` However, the following import...

Currently geoana's testing requires SimPEG. However the latest release of SimPEG will require geoana. We should probably dedicate some time to designing better tests in geoana to avoid this clash.

This is a long-term view. It would be cool to get the Gravity analytic response out of [geosci-labs](https://github.com/geoscixyz/geosci-labs) and made part of `geoana`

From @prisae on slack: Just joined #updates and stumbled upon `geoana`. A random thought: How about setting up a few tests comparing `simpeg/geoana` with `empymod.model.analytical`? `empymod` has a couple of...

_From @grosenkj on January 27, 2016 1:57_ It would be great to have an analytic solution fro a sphere in a half space in a plane wave fields in SimPEG....
