Ability to use templates

I've got a number of templates I've done, and being able to use them with the app would be superb!

I'm also wondering if there's a way to make a "bundle" which contains any static assets, the templates, plugins, metadata, basically everything except maybe the database itself (although bundling the db would be cool too) -- so that one could distribute an app bundle that's got everything all together. This would make it easier when distributing this kind of bundle to non-tech experts.
