Why is no one mentioning the redeem code needed to run the app in iOS?

I was eager to try this open source calorie counting app, but as dismayed that the App Store "link" to it actually goes to TestFlight. I guess that means this is still in beta? Do I have to join a beta test? Where is the redeem code for this app?

A little warning in the README, not to mention perhaps the steps you need to take?- would have been nice.

[!TIP] All you need to test the app in ios is the Testflight app and then in this page tap on View on Testflight.

This is not the fault of the developer but of apple for creating large barriers between you and the computer you purchased from them. They're telling you that they know better than you what software you should be allowed to install on the computer you purchased.

Maybe an AltStore is an option? This works in the EU at least.
