Desktop Release / Progressive Web App

What would it take to release this app for desktop? I don't always want to use my phone for everything. When I sit on the computer, it is much more convenient to type stuff in from there.

I'm very much a fan of progressive web apps these days, allowing me to run the same app on my mobile and computer, simply by sharing a URL. One good example where this approach is implemented very nicely is the open source expense sharing app spliit.app. No need to install anything. It just simply works on any device.

It would be great if OpenNutriTracker worked like this as well.

I was thinking about this too. It would require an entire rewrite, but the app isn't too big yet. Sadly, not all features are easily ported to the web. iOS doesn't have support for the experimental Barcode_Detection_API yet.

BTW, love the picture. I am the proud dad to a black pug myself 🐶
