clarify and document hledger vs ledger performance differences

A number of hledger docs and discussions touch on the relative performance of hledger and Ledger. A traditional rule of thumb has been "Ledger does core calculations 10x faster on big data". But for a number of years I have been unable to repeat these results, though recently others have.

This issue is about clarifying the different benchmark measurements and making them repeatable, documenting them in more detail, and updating any related docs.
