Monitoring audio

Any chance there is a way to monitor the audio from the source? Use case is for retro computing through a capture device. I can select the audio input source but there doesn't seem to be a way to "monitor" it.

I have the same use case and would use this feature if it was present. Audio line in monitoring on modern macOS is a tedious mess and having it built into Quick Camera would save a lot of time.

I would love to have this too, I use this to play games on old consoles like the PS2 or snes mini. I the meantime I use Quicktime to listen to the audio, quick camera has less lag than QT.. that why it's so great.
