Mastodon instances missing

I notice that not all mastodon instances will work work with your plug; for instance the two below

mastodon.online tweety.icu

is there a depository that you list instances to include these two?

I assume they are not in the instance autocomplete list. This means they are not autocompleted, but do indeed work. Just type in the name in the field.

I do and the error message is "instance is not valid"

The issue is still actual since one of the last wordpress-updates, for example switter.at is not accepted as mastodon-instance. And no, in reply to one of the above statements, it is not an issue of auto-comletion.

Try without the https:// and it should work :)

Would be a nice hint, if it would work and ifn't I had tried it out previously. Errormessage appears and the input line is resettet to http:// So your tip doesn't work.

@MaiaDereva this issue is now solved on our WordPress. It was related with the DST Root CA X3 certificate expiration in september. The solution is to remove this certificate from WordPress code (wp-includes/certificates/ca-bundle.crt). See https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/54207
