Hey Simon, First of this is amazing and something JayZ should really get off his cheatin' ass and give you some $$$$ for. Is it possible to build in the tidal sound output settings? See image below. I think this creates a more direct sound path and bypasses the Windows mixer. In the desktop app this allows me to send just music direct to an external DAC and not be affected by system or audio from other apps.

Unfortunately I think there is no way to do that in uwp Media Foundation apis. I will check with the anniversary update if I can set a specific output device to the media player though

Good news, the feature exists in Anniversary Update. After my work on xbox ui, I'll work on it :)
