Preview Of Text and Count with Search Pane

Which SIST2 component is your Feature Request related to? Preview Windows with search results

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Let' say i search for a keyword which has occurrences in many files. The preview window shows the portion of the highlightext in the passage and search pane to move forward with the same preview window

What would you like to see happen? An easy navigation of search results with easy accessibility with next, previous

Hi, could you provide a sketch or a description of how that would look like visually within the sist2 web UI? I'm not sure I understand

Not sure if this is what op is thinking, but personally would very much like to be able to expand further the preview, maybe with a button like so? image Then when it is expanded, the previews show the context, like so: image

If you click on the (i) icon to the left of the file name, it will provide you with the full context and all hits on the search term in the document.

I don't think there is currently a display of the number of hits within the document.

Thanks for pointing that out. The results from sist2 interface shows fewer hits than when searching in the pdf? Definitely looking forward to an enhancement for this. e.g. 33 results on the left (sist2 interface), 218 results from pdf. image

Hi, by default sist2 indexes the first 32kb of text, you can increase the value with --content-size. This is probably why you're seeing a difference.
