can't make shadow steel

dear create:above and beyond creators i can't make shadow steel to test and make it work just trow a cromatic compound in the void and then you will see that it doesn't make shadow steel please fix this or i wont be able thx to the create cromatic return that i had put in for making the creative blaze cake to create said item making a farm of it
