Support for `abi_stable`

Easier than I expected! I still have to try it out and see if it works well before merging, but at least it compiles.

Note that this release is blocked waiting for abi_stable's release of v0.11. In the meanwhile, I've removed alpha from the version number so that it can be used elsewhere. That should be cleaned up before merging.
