Issue and Feature Request
Issue im having is its not finding paid message videos even tho i know the selected model has paid videos in our DMS i also have 3 Request for Future Versions
- Add Expired subs in the list (so you can download the paid videos in the messages even tho your not subscribed anymore your past purchases are still there and available for downloading)
- Download post by post ID or Post Url (sometime you dont want to download ALL the videos or ALL the hundreds or thousands of videos on someones wall esp when most are 2-5 sec and censored , and just want 1 or 2 so download by post ID would be a GREAT feature if possible :))
- Option to choose what to download in the EXE (1,2,3,4,5 having to edit the Auth folder each time so you dont automatically start to download all the files when your just wanting the new paid message for example is excessive if there is a way to choose only the download paid messages in the EXE would save a ton of time)
Feature 1 is now included in the latest release. I agree that the bulk downloading by post id would be a good idea, it can be implemented so I will maybe set about doing that. I will try and make it so you can edit the config in the exe itself.
That is great you were able to include the past subs! Yes the download single post would be HUGE , because most already have their subs content downloaded with the chrome extention and alot just need the new DRM post rather then re-download hundreds of post , aswell as some models may have 50 censored post or "lame" videos and only 3 good full length tapes , would be nice to be able to just grab those If they were in "DRM" , I know how to do drm decryption so it's not as big of a deal to get they key and grab it with ffmpeg for me, but alot of people would be dependent on your amazing method! So it's greatly appreciated you are considering the feature! It would really enhance your tool!
As far as 3 goes my idea would be that after you select your model your then taken to a sub menu with all the options in the exe "paid post" "wall post" ect ect and then that's where you would put "x" in the little box selecting with shift as normal everything you want to download from that sub menu then when you submit with enter then it downloads based on your selected options. This is also where "download by id" can be implemented down the road and you can enter the post ID and it would be downloaded.
I agree. with the recent update adding the expired content. Can that function be optional to turn off/on maybe in the json file? reason being the initial load takes longer. I have been to a lot of sites and it adds time to the load and more searching through sites I no longer have access to. As for downloading newer posts I kill the process when I see the newer vids I want during the scrape, the good thing about the scrape is that it starts with newest post first. I am having a issue with site with over 800 media posts, starting from 2021. The scrape only sees posts from 2021 nothing newer than that. sorry to hijack webx123
Your good @bluman181 any advice and opinions are appreciated and helps Sim0n I'm sure, as far as your error goes tho I'd make a separate "issue" post so he makes sure to see it and mostly easier for the logs and for him to keep track of everything bug wise.
It's fine you're not the first person to raise that sort of issue, don't bother raising another issue.
You wouldn't think it would greatly impact the load time tho in theory (I haven't tried it yet) , but it shouldn't be pulling any real content at first just curling and pulling your expired sub list (list of names) shouldn't pull anything of size or data until you select that model then even then it's just searching for paid content from when you were subbed not all their post, seems like it would be small packets of data being transferred in just the names from the list itself...

I think it would definitely be an easy thing to add in terms of the other 2 options, my idea would be you select a user and then you can select like Posts for example and then all of the posts can be listed similar to how you select users from the Custom menu option and then you can determine what post you want to download based on the caption(s) and then those posts you selected are downloaded. Let me know if that sounds good or if you have anything to add to that.
That sounds amazing! , if that can be implemented with the captions and all that would be great! And very simple to use if it don't take to much time generating all the captions 1 by 1 that would definitely be the best method!
