Folders disappearing after navigation

SilverStripe 4.2.1, 4.3

Description

Newly created folders disappear after navigating into a directory and going back.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log in to the CMS admin panel
  2. Go into the "Files" section
  3. Press "Add folder" button
  4. Create a folder with any name
  5. Click on the folder name to navigate into it
  6. Press the button "Navigate up a level"

Result: the newly created folder disappears from the panel

It's still there in 4.3.

@maxime-rainville @dnsl48 can you confirm this is still an issue in 4.4? We did some work similar to this ages ago, and I'm unable to replicate this.

I think @unclecheese did some work with GraphQL caching or something along those line that fixed this issue. Or I might just be imagining things.

I can recreate in 4.3, but not 4.4. Closing the issue.

I can still reproduce this in 4.6.x-dev:

  1. Create a folder
  2. Save the folder
  3. Close the detail view
  4. Observe the new folder has disappeared

I can also reproduce this with the original set of steps. Reopening.

Confirmed this happens sometimes in the CMS 5 beta as well. It's yet another example of state issues in the assets section.
