[4.4] Page search "enter" key indicator disappears and leaves empty space

When searching for a page, there is a lot of empty space between the "X" clear button and the search button. Sometimes this gap is filled with a "Enter" key icon, but it seems to appear and disappear randomly:

Clicking on the empty space seems to make it show up.
