Your repository is not working
Your repository is not working. Probably because the url https://siku2.io/kodi-repository/addons returns 404.
Not sure what you mean... Maybe there's been a change in the repository structure for newer Kodi versions, but https://siku2.io/kodi-repository/addons/addons.xml still works.
I think latest kodi in development (nexus) looks for some extra stuff
Same problem for me in Kodi V19 (Matrix) your repo doesn't appear to have anything in it when adding it in the file manager.
+1
I managed to catch more meaningful error in the log with the reason why the repo does no longer work. I've no idea how to update the xml though. edit: I just noticed it's on the photo above too lol, well w/e
2022-10-13 15:15:22.365 T:5196 error <general>: Repository add-on repository.siku2 uses old schema definition for the repository extension point! This is no longer supported, please update your addon to use <dir> definitions.
I created a PR that may fix this, but it's untested. See siku2/kodi-repository#17
I tried to remove the repo and re-add it after seeing the pr above was merged, but the issue persists. I tried both methods of install on Nexus nightly. Do I need to do anything special to test the changes? Maybe the addon.xml
inside repository.siku2.zip
needs to be updated too?
Is this still an ongoing issue? I added the file path, and the repository still does not show.
Edit: forgot to mention, I'm on Nexus on a Windows 11 PC
The problem is as stated in the previous comment. There's a zip file in the repository that needs to be updated otherwise the extension can't be installed the first time.
Issue still happening.
