thanks for reporting this. I'm not sure what's the best solution here, should we make menu items responsive and put latest items to a more item if there's no room fo them? making Search bar smaller doesn't seems a proper fix.

Maybe this may work: Automatically detect the width of the link area and send that value to the search bar for it to make itself expand just to that area.

I told this exact same solution at Flarum's core repo but they told me that you can do this from the extension side.

Don't do a "more" section because I would like to have a suggestion for the extension: The support for dropdowns (sub-categories). Just saying this for you to not do more because I want this for a long time :)

@sijad Just asking, is it possible to come up with a solution faster? Some friends of mine are going to switch to Flarum and I don't want them to return back to their old software and keep using Flarum, this bug makes the visual design so bad and they will need this extension.
