My Google Sites Template Did Not Export
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Export the whole web site.
2. Open the index.html file in the "home" folder
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see the same site I had on Google Sites, template and all.
Now, the template is gone. There is just white space around the edge of
the page.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The latest version, 1.0.1. I am running Windows XP Professional.
Please provide any additional information below.
I really need this template. It is the main reason I chose Google Sites
for my development. By the way, I was able to find a work-around for my
last issue posted. If I run something that uses java first, then I can
execute the .jar file from the command-line only (but still not by double-
clicking the file). The key is, I must have java running BEFORE I try to
execute the .jar file.

Definitely an isssue. While the text content of the site was probably exported,
subpage listings within the content are gone, subpage listings at the bottom of
the
page are gone, navigation only shows one level, not to mention that NO style
seems
to have been exported (background image, colors, fonts, ...).

At the moment, the chrome isn't part of the export. This tool is primarily
meant to be
an export of the data. The result is meant to be portable and moving to a
different
hosting service may or may not play nicely with custom stylization.
That said, this is a perfectly valid feature request. I'll discuss it with the
Sites team to
determine the feasibility.

With version 1.0.3 on MacOS X, I get the same problem: the template is not
exported, only the bare text is
exported. Which makes this very useful tool useless to me at the moment. Thanks!

I experienced the same problem. Obviously something that I hope they know
about and
are working on??

Same issue here. I was expecting the site to be downloaded complete, but the
template is left out.

Same issue here. Have there been any enhancements? Any recommendations for a
way to do this?
