When listing public keys show at least the first 3 hex digits

Open AgeManning opened this issue 7 months ago • 3 comments

The EL creds only seem to show the first 2 digits which make it hard to match against other ones I have.

I think the common convention is to show at least 3 of the first digits and 3 of the last digits.

can you make a screenshot for more context?

I just realised this is my bad. Its showing the 0x01 then the last digits. Makes sense to show withdrawal creds type, it's usually followed by 0's for padding. I think what is done is correct, my bad closing this issue.

Oh no. I did see this. I have a real world example, so don't want to take a screenshot of the actual key.

But when I am signing and submitting consolidation requests, before submitting there is a column that says:

Credentials: 0xAB...ABABABAB - When you hover over it it does: 0xAB..<Then the full key>

The hover over should just show the full key without the dots or the prefix, and the default should show maybe the first 4 digits and the last 4 digits.
