REQ: Tag your docker images when pushing to Quay.

By practice, it's common to tag versions and releases with tags. Everything you deploy is "latest" but we need to pin the deployment to a specific image because they don't always work with the environment updates coming from docker, such as swarm.

using SHA extensions is not optimal.

Is there another way you can use build numbers or some other numbering system to qualify the builds you release? Previous tags are also not available online. Everything latest:nnnn is not correct

more common is something like

1.0.0-379
1.0.0-378
1.0.0-377
1.0.0-376

and tagging the latest build with an additional tag:

latest  << 1.0.0-379
