Word wrapping should be disabled or at least optional (checkbox) Reading or editing is a pain in you know where...

Since this issue dates back to 2014 I'm not sure this is the same issue but at least switching to debuglogs.org the Content-Type is text/html instead of text/plain. This would explain missing line breaks.

Looking through the code superficially, I'd have expected that this code sets the type correctly but that doesn't appear to be the case.
