Can't expand long messages in edit history with "Read More" unresponsive

Bug description

When you access the edit history of an edited long message (that gets automatically truncated), the "Read More" buttons on the older versions of the message are unresponsive, such that you cannot view the entirety of any of the older message versions.

Steps to reproduce

• send a longer message that gets automatically truncated with "Read More" appearing at the bottom,
• edit said message to change something and send it again,
• view the edit history of the message,
• press "Read More" on any of the older versions of the message.

Actual result: The "Read More" button does not expand any of the messages.

Expected result: The "Read More" button expands the message on which it's clicked so you can see the entire older message.

We are aware of the problem and we are currently looking for a solution. Although our engineers are working on a fix, unfortunately I can't give a specific schedule for resolution.
