Bug description

If you start listening to an audio message and then receive and answer an incoming call while still listening to the audio message there will be no sound for either person on the call. This no sound behavior will remain on subsequent calls until the user fully closes the app. If before you answer the call, you pause the audio message and then answer the incoming call the audio will work as intended. The audio also works as intended if you are listening to an audio message and then make an outgoing call before pausing the audio message.

Steps to reproduce

  • receive an audio message
  • listen to the audio message
  • have someone call you while the audio message is playing
  • answer the incoming call
  • try to talk/hear the other person

Actual result: You cannot hear the other person on the call and they cannot hear you.

Expected result: You should be able to hear the other person on the call and they should be able to hear you.

Device info

For audio listening device: Device: iPhone 12

For calling device: Device: iPhone 12

I believe this has been happening even before the update to IOS 16.
