ios forwarded video not showing on desktop osx

Overall summary

on ios i sent a video to someone then forwarded it to someone else. on osx desktop the person that got the forwarded message in the sidebar says last message is the video but then in the conversation there is a empty blue bubble no video. the original person that got the video message shows the video correctly.

Steps to reproduce

1. send video to someone on ios

2. on ios forward the video to someone else

3. open the forwarded person conversation on osx - video is missing

I heard from the recipient of the forwarded message the video didn't show for them either

On iOS where I forwarded from the video does show in the chat with them
