Sending messages with changed system time breaks the chat

Bug description

I've used my phone to test some future notifications in an android app which I work on. For this, I've set the system date time to 11.02.2025. Meanwhile, on my PC, I've sent several messages. This sequence screwed up the chat view. I've tried to reinstall the app and restore the backup but it resulted in the same history.

As you can see, there are messages from today (Heute), on 31.01.2025, above the captured area, followed by messages from yesterday (Gestern), on 30.01.2025, then messages on 11.02.2025.

Then after the messages on 11.02.2025, again messages from yesterday.
