Bug description
Description:
It is not possible to switch to a new phone number using call verification.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Navigate to
Settings. - Select
Account. - Click on
Change phone number.
The screen displays the following message:
"Use this to change your current phone number to a new phone number. You can't undo this change. Before continuing, make sure your new number can receive SMS or calls."
I am using a VoIP number that is capable of receiving calls.
Upon following the process, there is no option to switch to phone call verification. I attempted to enter a random verification code, but the process fails. There is no option for or fallback to call verification.
Expected Behavior:
The app should provide an option to use phone call verification instead of just SMS verification, or allow switching to phone call verification if SMS fails.
Actual Behavior:
Only SMS verification is offered, and there is no option to switch to phone call verification.
Environment:
VoIP number capable of receiving calls.
