Transfer from Android device not working

Bug description
Transfer from Android device not working: I try to transfer my chats from my Old Phone to a new phone. But both Phones can not find each other.
Steps to reproduce
Open Signal on both Phone Click "Transfer from Android Device On the other Phone "Transfer Account" Let both Phone find each other
*Actual result: error can not find other device. Expected result: Both Phones should find each other

@Somamint Please add logs of both phones to help devs to investigate the issue! Nevertheless it could help to remove known devices/groups from wifi-direct in your os settings.
Hi! Yes, if you could share debug logs, we can more easily look into this issue.
I tried. But the the old Phone Note 8 does not open logs. I keeps loading the logs. And the new phone has only the option to transfer. There is no log option.

Why is the version on the Note 9 older?
I also run into this again but after several atempts i noticed the phoned were at different versions. It would be nice to have such informations on screen like a text note "Make sure you updated to latest version."
