Infinite loop sending messages to contact list

So I have made a new signal account and when I message the first or second person on my contacts list a Vcaptcha appears for verification which then sends the messages but if I send anymore message to contacts to send my new contact number an infinite rotating loop appears and it does not deliver the message nor does a Vcaptcha appear to authenticate I am not a human when I click the message and press info option it tells me it’s sent via pending .. someone please help as it is frustrating and I cannot send my new number to my contact list .

A user posted: getting the same issue. Getting the death wheel after 2-3 messages to new accounts from a new device.

I know this doesn't help you now, but Signal has a change number feature under account settings. Before you toss the old phone you can transition the account to the new #. Then when you re-register on the new device you can do so with the new number and no have any issues. For next time!
For now, you'll have to wait. You can disable typing indicators to potentially help as well but that's more of a guess than real advice so 🤷🏼
