Bug description

Signal regularly nags with a "you might have a new message" message, which is completely useless.

Steps to reproduce

I think this happens when I lose internet signal, e.g. switch the phone into offline mode, or lose the Wifi signal.

I didn't have this recently, but I was also connected to the Internet most of the time. But maybe its fixed.
