Bug description
Chat bubbles now have a massive white border around the profile icon
Steps to reproduce
- Enable chat bubbles
- Receive message
Actual result: The chat bubble appears and there is a huge white border around the contact's profile image Expected result: Profile image should fill the chat bubble with no border

Same for me since recently; this is the same kind of issue Telegram has had since they even introduced Bubbles support:
FB Messenger migrated to Bubbles in place of their prioprietary Chat heads and yet they never had this problem. See attached screenshot:
Hi, so this is being caused by some tomfoolery with how adaptive bitmaps work and I can't get them working in one place without breaking them in another. I've got a contact at Google helping out to figure out what magical combination of stuff I need to get this working properly.
