Forwarding gif result in sending a video

Bug description
- Forwarding a gif is not consistent
- Different (sub)issue recognized during reproducing main issue -> 3 dot menu has no icons
Steps to reproduce
- send a gif from giphy to a random signal user
- long click on this sent image and forward to Note to Self (gif get sent as gif, as expected) (MsgId: 1647880337478)
- go back to chat of user where gif has been sent from
- click on gif to maximize
- forward gif from the 3-dot-menu on the top right
- gif get sent as video. Not auto playing and has to be clicked on play icon to start (MsgId:1647880375209)
Actual result: Forwarding a gif is inconsistent depending of the used workflow Expected result: Forwarding a gif should forward a gif with auto-play enable.

This issue has been automatically marked as stale because it has not had recent activity. It will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions.
The problem exists for self-made “gifs” (e.g. short, audioless, MP4s) too. There is no way to send them to appear like gifs.
And that “stale bot” is a really harmful anti-feature. Problems don’t go away, just because they keep getting ignored. It just artificially drives the numbers down while creating an illusion. What if it was a security bug? What if it was driving people away?
@greyson-signal Can you please add the acknowleged tag to disable stale bot?
Is the initial bug still present? Because it's working fine for me.
