GTID enable,but report No use GTID MODE

mysql5.7.22 : enforce_gtid_consistency = ON gtid_mode = ON

base gtid replication is ok。

but , replication-manager-cli console "Using GTID" column show No; web ALERTS show No GTID strict mode on slave xxxx：port switchover report logs : ERROR - Reset slave failed on new master, reason:Error 3081: This operation cannot be performed with running replication threads; run STOP SLAVE FOR CHANNEL '' first switchover failed.

Hi Nigel, I can not reproduce in 2.1 on mysql 5.7.22 at the same time i have no alert at all No GTID strict mode on slave is not show in my setup !

Could it be that you did not setup the replication in GTID mode in bootstrap?

I 'm able to confirm that console display bad information we should fix when reporting MySQL GTID

sorry, my db used percona5.7.22 I used vervion Version: 2.0.1-2-gf6c1c714. later I will install 2.1 test it.

Ok that i never tested so no need to rush testing 2.1 yet

OK GTID switchover failover works on mysql 5.7 2x 3x nodes ! Moving to percona GTID that is indeed not cover by test

Yes 2.0 is back ported but not yet push into repo

I ‘ve been silence because failback of old master after a failover may not work. I’ve get no time today to work on it but may be tomorrow will make it . i keep you posted .
