I think that when the PR was pushed it was complete. More than a year later, I am not so sure that all is still compatible with the whatsapp evolution.

Unfortunately I don't work for the above mentioned project anymore, and I don't have enough time to do the necessary tests to merge it.

If someone wants to take it over, they should check that the get_chat_history (on backend/whatsapp.py) method is still working. (and resolve conflicts...)

Otherwise you can close the MR.
