[Feature request] Include window name when saving the session
At work, I name my Chrome windows (right-click on top of window, choose Name Window) for organization. It would be helpful is there was an option to save (and restore) the window name as part of session. If a window wasnt named that way, then the title of the window based on the current page could be used instead.
This would also help looking through a session to find a particular window or page to restore.
Custom window names, using e.g. Window Titler or similar extension, are already supported in Firefox. Not sure about Chrome. Unfortunately, the support is currently not working for me - the titles are saved and restored, but lost as soon as a new tab is opened. See #924.
This had not worked for me in Chrome, and Chrome can do this as native functionality. As far as I can tell, the custom window name is not saved or restored at all in Chrome as I never see it, even if I don't open a new tab.
The WebExtensions API does not yet support window naming in Chrome. #770
I would also like this, in Firefox.
