Sync across multiple computers automatically, same Google Drive email used

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

So, I have Computer A which is has around 1000+ sessions. I have another computer, Computer B which is fresh.

Describe the solution you'd like I wanted Computer B to have all the sessions from Computer A, and vice-versa moving forward as I will be using the two computers full time.

A unified session list will be helpful for that. It does not make sense to use one computer and not being able to continue what I left off there on another computer.

Describe alternatives you've considered I tried logging in on Computer B, Synced and all, but no sessions from Computer A were loaded on Computer B.

Additional context Maybe I'm missing something, suggestions are appreciated.

I am not even able to sign into Google with this, when I press to sign in and if I tick to allow it access to Google Drive or not tick then either way it just proceeds to a screen telling me that an unknown error occurred during the sign in. I think the Google Drive API key needs updating or the JS library it is linked with needs updating or something. Not functional right now...

I'm using the Firefox version.

I use the Google Chrome version and it works without problems, exactly what you mean

Try disabling the rest of your plugins and then try connecting to your Google account Should work without problems

Perhaps it is using a Google Chrome API for the sync and only works on Chrome not Firefox/Edge/Brave? Thanks for the insight.

I'm having the exact same issue - adding a second laptop and would like to sync:

  • first a one-time sync tothe new laptop
  • thereafter, bi-dir sync

when I sync from my old laptop:

  • sync appears to be doing sth
  • nothing is written to google drive

troubleshooting

  • i checked permissions and TSM is auth'd to: See, create, and delete its own configuration data in your Google Drive

other troubleshooting

  • tried exporting / importing
  • exported JSON looks like it is correct (didn't do a deep dive)
  • clicking imp btn just returns to the main screen, no imported recs

and tried disabling all other ext

  • sync runs for quite a while
  • nothing is written to google drive

it's late here, apologies for the sloppy post
