Apps that go fullscreen have old brightness value

🤷🏽‍♂️ Current Behaviour

When I go fullscreen on an app like VLC or such, it is overlayed on top of Desktop Dimmer, and as such appears at the brightness that i have set on my computer, not the reduced one set by desktop dimmer.

This doesn't happen, for instance, on youtube after going fullscreen.

I just happen to stumble over the above feedback. Sure is true, and in fact something I though was a feature, not a bug. 😄 When starting a game (full screen) or stream a TV show or movie, I do like the fact that I do not have to care about DD - the screen is bright and reverts to my settings after closing the windows. I do understand InternetJohnnys complaint, it also happens with some dialogs that are overlayed, but if you "rectify" that, I would love to have an option to turn this behaviour back, if thats not too much work, though.
