Uncheck file when cutting

In the files section, when I cut a file using the 'x' default shortcut, it marks the file with asterisk. If I cut a wrong file mistakenly, there is no way to uncheck the file. It would be nice if the cut option worked like toggle for checking and unchecking the files to cut.
