For now, Pyreal is slower than alternatives in many cases. This is partly because Pyreal maintains the original data and copies it to run transforms and partially due to unknown reasons that still need investigation.

A small, O(N) runtime increase caused by needing to maintain different versions of the data is fine, but we should confirm the runtime increase is only caused by this. We should also investigate other possibilities for optimization, such as saving transformed versions of data.

This epic exists to track progress on the general optimization process.

Goals

• Pyreal runs within a proven O(N) runtime of non-Pyreal alternatives for LFC, GFI, and DTE
