Added new functionality to return UTF-8 strings representing the currency symbols of the existing currencies from map.js. Also updated the documentation to reflect the new addition

I think it would be good to add a function to get the currency name as well as the symbol. Maybe add a `getNameFromCurrency` function that would return the name...
