@hobbes it is indeed bloody weird of microsoft? as i explained a completely fresh install of windows 11 24h2 (even 25h2 now) and using a local account does this, weather...

i think im going to close this issue as the really isnt much we can do apart from my suggestion to seperate out the bitlocker values

the problem you have with this, is what about devices with multiple interfaces and mutliple IP addresses? how do we know which IP address it used? u cant just assume...

the other problem you have is if you use AMT devices or the local groups the hostname option is ALREADY the devices local ip address as you need to know...

@stephannn only the `controlChannelDebug=1` then restart meshagent, and it should spit out a log file which might help narrow down if its disconnecting and not reconnecting maybe?
