Navbar modal hiding behind content when logging in or registering

What happened?

When I press the "Login" or "Register" button, the modal hides behind the page content or overlaps and isn’t visible until I scroll down. This affects the user experience, as it's not obvious that the modal appeared.

I expected the login or register form to open in a new window, making it more visible and easier to interact with, instead of appearing behind the page content.

How can we reproduce this bug?

Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open the website. 2.Click the "Login" or "Register" button. 3.Notice that the modal is either hidden or partially overlaps behind other content.
