Crossine not work

I double clicked the jar file i downloaded, but i just had a sand clock cursor and nothing happend i tried again, i ended up crashing my PC

How do i install it correctly

go to https://github.com/shxp3/CrossSine/releases and download the file. Don't double click it. Put it in ur mods folder. I recommend using legacy launcher but u can download forge from here https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/index_1.8.9.html
