I'm not 100% sure if master (just renamed it to main) should use the pre-release as it also includes the Nextra docs (and self-explains). Although we are very close to a stable release of 2.0.

Noticed that the search doesn't work, because the locale always fallbacks to en-US even if there's no i18n enabled:

I think I’ll make core the default branch (and rename it to main) in v2, and move the docs website into the monorepo.

So I’ll open a new PR and close this one when it’s more ready.

@shuding moving docs in monorepo is a perfect solution. And sorry, I removed fork and you'll need to cherry picks all commits 😬
