I've looked into the problem and I think adding a space after the comment token in the SQL parser would solve the problem. @ibennetch what do you think?

@ibennetch @williamdes should I go ahead with the following enhancement? I feel this would be a good enhancement and I'll include it with https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/pull/16438

Fixed in upcoming PR: https://github.com/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin/pull/16321, fix is similar to what @codyclearsky mentioned. Unfortunately, I saw it after I fixed it.

Maybe testing whether it works perfectly while adding a new book and while just adding a new edition.

I think the two PRs should be kept separate.
