Make proxy compatible with Rails 3

I find the idea of this gem is quite useful. However, it is not compatible with Rails 3. I tried to upgrade it for Rails 3. Just fixed a warning in my fork. Then found out that it needs an overhual due to big changes in ActionController::UrlWriter. So thought the original author may be better source.

Could you please upgrade it? Thanks.
