pādānta akṣara with visarga is recognised as laghu
As I had read that visarga is treated like a consonant for analysis, akṣara with visarga at end of pāda is recognised as laghu instead of guru when the next pāda begins with a vowel.
thus read as …mūrti ḥagaṇitaphaladāyakaḥ ( GL LLL…)
Make an exclusion?
@sridatta1 I think the error is here is coming not from treating visarga as consonant, but from the fact that sandhi does not happen at the end of each "half" of the verse. Otherwise, at the end of odd pādas, we'll never have a case where a line ends with visarga but the next one starts with a vowel. But yes there's a bug here… will look into it.
