I have an issue to report about the results for the following input:

प्रतिभटश्रेणिभीषणवरगुणस्तोमभूषण 
जनिभयस्थानतारणजगदवस्थानकारण ।
निखिलदुष्कर्मकर्शननिगमसद्धर्मदर्शन 
जयजयश्रीसुदर्शनजयजयश्रीसुदर्शन 

The issue is: The software is not able to identify. Will you be able to let me know which chandas is it? Also, where does the yati happen for this particular chandas.

Thanks for reporting.

This is what I was able to find online:

• You'll find more results if you search for "प्रतिभटश्रेणिभीषण वरगुणस्तोमभूषण" etc (and grammatically also it's two words), rather than "प्रतिभटश्रेणिभीषणवरगुणस्तोमभूषण" etc.
• It's from a text called सुदर्शनाष्टकम् by श्री वेदान्तदेशिक, and there are several recordings online.
• Each line (pāda) of the above seems to have the metrical pattern "LLLGGLGLL LLLGGLGLL" (2×9 = 18 syllables)
• This metre (either 9 syllables LLLGGLGLL=na-ta-bha or LLLGGLGLG=na-ta-ra, or them twice) is not found in any of the big lists I could find. (E.g. this list.)
• So it seems to be a one-off metre chosen by वेदान्तदेशिक for this composition.
• In some places online this is described as the "'dhrithas' chandas", but I think they meant dhṛtiḥ which simply means any metre with 18 syllables in each line.
• There are several recordings of सुदर्शनाष्टकम् online (e.g. this one apparently by Sri Kadambi Srinathan), and you can listen to them for yati etc: it seems there's a yati after 9 syllables, and that's also how the composition is written.

It may be nice to add this metre to the database as simply "the metre of सुदर्शनाष्टकम्" and associate it with some of the recordings online...
